Sandy was my first boxer, she was purchased from the Red Deer SPCA where she ended up after being turned in by someone who had seen her running loose at the lake without an owner for several days. She was  living off of anything people would feed her which was normally french fries. She was SO amazing with my son that I swore no other breed of dog would ever be in my home.
